If you have any questions or concerns not addressed below, feel free to contact me directly via email or phone.

  • What can I expect during our first session?
The first session involves gathering information from the client to create a diagnostic assessment. This process helps to create a specialized treatment plan/goals for the client.
  • Do you take insurance and what is the payment process?
I currently only offer private pay options where clients can pay via credit, venmo, or zelle. Payment is due after every session, or clients can purchase a "block of visits" at a discounted rate.
  • What is telehealth and can we meet in-person?
I currently only offer sessions via telehealth. We will utilize the secure, online platform, Theranest.com
  • Will you prescribe medication?
I do not prescribe medication. I can refer clients to preferred psychiatrists if requested.
  • will everything I share with you remain confidential?
All therapists are legally and ethically bound to keep their sessions confidential with limitations which are listed below. There may scenarios in which confidentiality may need to be broken. This includes the following: If the client may be an immediate danger to themself or another. If the client is endangering another who cannot protect themself, as in the case of a child, a person with a disability, or elder abuse. Outside of the above listed scenarios, your information will not be shared with another party unless you provide a signed release form.
  • What is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy?
EMDR is a therapeutic modality that helps people heal from symptoms connected to disturbing experiences. People often think of this process as a re-filing of disturbing memories. As you focus on the negative memory, you'll use your eyes to track your therapist's hand movements and or instruments back and forth repeatedly. This technique is connected to the biological processes of REM sleep. When done successfully, EMDR can help to transform emotional wounds.
  • How will I know if therapy is working?
Psychotherapy is a process, which is unique for every individual. It may take weeks, months, or even years to notice substantial changes, but we celebrate even the "small" shifts within emotions, behavior, or thoughts.
  • Do you have evening or weekend availability?
We will work together to develop a schedule that works for you and the clinician.
